Low Voltage Cooling is on our of specialty areas. Conversion of your existing galley Ice Box is no problem. We work extensively with Danfoss BDF Compressors which are highly reliable, mostly used in 12V/24V refrigeration systems and available worldwide. These units are extremely quiet and efficient. Any Danfoss compressor system can be easily adapted to 240V for shore power usage. These systems can be either air or water cooled. Evaporator Plates can be supplied in Stainless Steel or Aluminium. The plate can be built to the Internal lining of the Refrigerator box. When designing your custom built system, we will take into account factors such as Insulation, Ice Box size, location to Heat sources and ventilation requirements for Air Cooled Units.

Eutectic refrigeration systems can be used for refrigerators or freezers and is excellent for maintaining refrigeration temperatures in your cabinet while minimizing compressor running time. Eutectic Systems can be driven from your Motor; can be 12V or 240V, Water cooled or Air cooled. One or more refrigerators or freezers can be running from one unit. Generally, temperature pull down time is very quick using this type of system. Cool Factor is an agent for and recommends the U-TEC Brand.

Marine air conditioning is another specialty area of ours. Careful consideration is given to the specific design for your vessel. We can offer comprehensive sales and service which includes Split Systems, stow away and reverse cycle. There is even a portable carry on model which sits over your forward hatch. Cool Factor is an agent for and recommends Cruise Air which is guaranteed world wide. Cruise Air are constantly improving and developing their products.
